Two programmes to watch out for this Autumn on Five:
Last night saw the first programme of a new series, Top Trumps, where each week Robert Llewellyn (Scrapheap Challenge) and Ashley Hames explore two extreme machines, putting them through their paces and noting down any statistics that might give them top trumps at the end of the show when comparing statistics, just like the card game. This week boats, next week planes.
Series on Mondays, 7.30pm, channel Five.
From the producers of Ice Road Truckers, a new series all about the Axe Men, following teams of North American lumberjacks as they risk their lives to retrieve timber from mountainsides too steep to use modern machinery. Series starts weds 17th September, 8.00pm, channel Five.
